More projects...

My sister-in-law recently had a baby girl so it was a great excuse to make another tutu to send to her. I used 3 different shades of pink and I love how it turned out.

This Happy Easter set was actually a custom order on Etsy, I liked how it turned out so much that I decided to relist it.

This one I made for fun and is now sitting in my living room.
Other than working on a few other projects, not much is going on here. The semester is almost over at GRCC so I won't have to work for a couple of weeks, yea!! I miss being able to say good night to my Addie.

I was scrolling through pictures on our computer and I got to some of Addie as a tiny little baby. It seems like we have a lot of friends who are expecting babies soon and it makes me think back to that joyous (yet painful) experience of bringing Addie into the world. This video is one thing I came across. WARNING: These are pictures from the actual birth. I think it's pretty well censored as for as not showing too much of me, but there is some blood in the pictures right after she was born. Watch at your own risk! I love watching it. I think giving birth is a wonderful and beautiful thing. I am so glad we got to do it how we wanted to in the comfort of our own home.

Why...

do they make car seat covers so impossible to take off? I don't think I should have to wait for Daniel to come home and help me in order to wash the vomit off Addie's car seat. Arrgghh...now the task of trying to put it back on.

Curves here I come!

When I was working 12 hour days in Idaho I would take an hour break in the evening, go do my 30 minute workout at Curves, grab some dinner and head back to work. It was great. I think Curves, Dr Francis and my excellent diet were the reasons I had such a wonderful pregnancy with Addie and the reason I could work 12 or more hours a day and get up the next morning to do it again! After I had her I had to cancel it because they don't have child care and it was too hard to go workout in the evening with a new born. So almost 2 years later, I'm going back. Daniel is really going to try to be home in time for me to go at night. He says I need it for my sanity. I didn't know I was losing my sanity, but apparently to him I am. I'm pretty excited to put some muscle back on. Here's to feeling good and having more energy!! Anyone want to join me?

Happy Birthday Daniel!!

Monday we celebrated Daniel's 26th birthday. His company gives the employees their birthday off so we had a wonderful 3 day weekend. He had a few gifts/cards and I decided it wouldn't be fun to just give them all to him at once so I hid them all over the house and made him go on a scavenger hunt to find them all. There are a lot of videos, mostly for our parents so they could 'see' Daniel open the gifts from them.

Mom, listen to this next one, Addie says "grandma" for you.

Drumming is one of his passions...

Daniel picked Red Robin for his birthday lunch. I even had them sing to him so that he could get his free ice cream.

We're not sure if this is what caused the vomiting that followed her nap and continued into the night. But she sure enjoyed that sundae! She actually doesn't look so good in the above picture...

We spent the afternoon playing Rockband. We were going to go out for pizza because our life insurance company has once a month get togethers but since Addie wasn't feeling well, Daniel went grocery shopping and made us dinner. Around 7 Addie climbed the stairs and pointed to her bed. She went to sleep early but it was a rough night. I think Daniel had a great birthday though, happy birthday sweetheart!

Singing and Dancing

She loves her Wee Sing Cd's. I love her moves.

I recorded this on the way to church (sorry for the shaky recording). She sang all the way there. Too bad we have absolutely no idea what song it is!

Daniel thinks she sounds like Dori Speaking Whale on Finding Nemo...
