Addie turns 9!

This year Addie wanted to do a spa themed birthday party. I didn't get as many pictures as I would have liked but the party went well!

All pink and black!

She made little labels for all the different stations. We had a nail polish removal station, foot bath station, a place to paint nails and a face mask station.

We are missing a few girls in this photo, who was the photographer here?!

She even insisted on a pinata!

Goodie bags with nail polish, nail files, a face mask and a loofa!

Addie with the banana face mask on!

Instead of a regular cake or cupcakes we went with cheesecake!

Fast asleep with her new face mask on. She loves this things and sleeps with it on every night!

Father's Day 2016

We like any excuse to stop and snap some pictures of the kids. Happy Father's Day to this handsome man!

I think the socks are a nice touch to his outfit. :)

Mt. Rainier Cabin

In June we planned a trip to stay in a cabin for 2 nights by Mt. Rainier. Although it rained for all of 1 of the days, we loved it! The day it was rainy we stayed in and played games and watched movies. I am convinced we need a cabin. The kids keep asking if we can go back.

The main cabin is in the center of the picture and to the left is a small building. It had 2 tiny rooms with a bathroom in between. Addie and Johnny slept out there by themselves! I was a little nervous but I think they loved having their own space.

Out back there was a covered BBQ and fire pit. This came in soooo handy since it was raining and I wanted my s'mores!

Of course we picked a dog friendly cabin to bring Bella!

There was even a hot tub! They tested it out in the rain!

We tried to go hiking the first day we were there but it started to rain on us so we headed in. The next day was a little nicer. We headed out to a trail that was supposed to be fairly easy for families. We didn't end up doing the whole hike because it was rather long and it was sprinkling off and on. We didn't want to get stuck in a down pour with all the kids!

Munching on some lunch before we headed back home! It was a fun 2 days and I am looking forward to doing it again sometime soon!
