New obsession...
Vinyl on glass frames!

As I mentioned in a previous post, I have been digging through the frames at Goodwill to use for projects. Here are 3 more! The 'A' frame is actually from the Dollar Store, the Peace quote frame was spray painted then sanded and the 'P' frame is as it was when I found it.
These monograms will be in my Etsy shop soon. :)
I have sooo many ideas of things to make but I don't want them all in my house!
People might start getting gifts from me (after I take pictures and post in my Etsy shop).
:)
First Day of Preschool
My baby girl (who is not really a baby anymore) started preschool today.
During the orientation we went to, they told us that some kids that you think won't have any problem leaving you and going into class, will cry and have a hard time.
Daniel and I looked at each other and said "No. She won't"
And she didn't. I barely got a kiss and a goodbye before she wondered into her classroom by herself.
I had a whole 2.5 hours with no one talking, crying, whining or wanting to be held. It was pretty fantastic.
Johnny slept the whole time.
Although I did miss her, I know she had fun and will have a blast!
These are the 2 best pictures I got of her before we left. She was being goofy for the camera.
By the way, this is my 201st post! I forgot to mention my 200th.

Reading, Reading, Reading...
Lately Addie has been reading non-stop. Often I find that the house is too quiet. When I go to see what she is in to, she's reading quietly by herself. I'm not sure if this is just a thing she is going through or if it's because she sees me reading a lot lately myself (The Hunger Games trilogy is fantastic!).
Trouble
I don't know how kids get themselves in some of the places they do. Johnny is all over the place and into everything! Some people don't like this stage because they are mobile and dumping things out all over the house, but really if it means I get my hands free for a few minutes, I can clean up the mess later. :)
Milk Lid Name
This project has been sitting in my room forever! I now have an official "Projects to-do" box that is full of stuff I might never get to, but I will keep working one project at a time!
I got the idea for this off of my friends blog (Thanks Melissa!). She got the idea here.
Mine was a little bit fancier than the website and took way longer than it needed to but Addie loved helping me. She helped cut the strips of paper and pushed the buttons on the Cricut for the circles. Plus my handwriting is awful so I used vinyl. I think it came out pretty cute and she does enjoy playing with. Hopefully it actually helps her learn how to spell and recognize her name past the letter 'A'.
