New Passion

Daniel played soccer in high school and has always loved it. He now has Addie loving it too. She took a 6 week soccer class last year at her preschool but now she is much more serious about it. We decided to get her some cleats, her own ball and shin guards. All pink! We even picked up some  plastic cones so that Daniel can set up drills for her to do!

 Her cute cleats!
This kid had to have his own (smaller) ball. He just thinks it's fun to knock the cones over with the ball.

Daffodil Parade

Here I am behind again! Trying to get caught up...
Back in April we went to the Daffodil Parade. Parades are one of Addie's favorite things, she was so excited! We headed over about an hour early so that we could get a decent place to sit. While we waited for it to start we ate our lunches that we packed. The day started out much cooler and I guess we over dressed the kids. They were pretty toasty sitting in the sun. They had to find refuge in the shade for a little bit. The parade lasted about 2.5 hours. That plus the hour we were there before meant the kids sat there for over 3 hours. While we were waiting for it to start Johnny thought he needed to run around and act crazy but once it started they both sat there. The whole time. We had lots of snacks to munch on and people kept handing them daffodils which helped to keep their hands busy!

This was one of the first cars, I thought it was a little odd. I still don't understand. Why the Easter Bunny and Santa?

Chillin in the shade.
