Back to May

In May we had some nice weather so we were able to get outside a little bit! The kids even thought it was warm enough to wear bathing suits and play with the water table!

I just thought this was gross. A worm as long as my foot!

I don't even remember what she ate, but it was tasty!

Opal and Fielding!

I bought this swing from someone on Craigslist for $15 and she loved it! I sold my other one that she didn't like and made $100!

While I was in California Johnny had his preschool program. I had him wear his hat and sing some songs for me since I missed it. :)

Oh, these 2 melt my heart! Cohen and Dia were so cute together!

Sleeping babies...

more sleeping baby.

Poor Addie has a crowded mouth (like her mother!). She had to have some baby teeth pulled to make room for her adult teeth. She did great! After she told me that she didn't really like it and that the needle he used to numb her really hurt. She most likely needs more pulled and she is not looking forward to it!

I love this. Young Men + basketball + your wife asked you not to play basketball after mutual and come home to help her with the kids= black eye.

At the end of May Daniel and I snuck away to a Christina Perri concert in Seattle! I was super nervous to leave Opal since she was still so little and refused to take a bottle. But I really love Christina Perri and didn't want to miss the opportunity to see her live! We had a great time and Opal cried a little but we all survived the night!

Library day!

These 2 went on their first Father and son camp out! They had a really great time

Rewind to April

So here we are in December. 2014 is almost over and I am blogging April! Geez. Just a warning, these next posts will probably include a lot of pictures just so I can get them all in faster!
***

The ducks came to visit us finally in the Spring! They came right up to the window like they were waiting for us to come outside. Of course we did. And we fed them bread (which you are not supposed to do I guess!).

My new bookshelf. For free!! I love it. Daniel did not want anything to do with it. In fact, I had a friend go pick it up because Daniel didn't want to. He was hoping our friend would want it and we wouldn't have to keep it. :) With a little bit of paint, it cleaned up really nice (I'll have to post a recent picture of it soon!).

Just going on a walk with my crazies!

This bench was used as the kid's shoe storage downstairs for awhile. Then it got ugly. So we moved it to Addie's room for her to use as a reading bench and gave it a makeover...

She loves it!!

Babies socializing. (They were all born within about 3 weeks of each other!)

April was Fair time!! Oh how we love the fair. The lights, smells, yummy food. This year we decided to get a babysitter for Dia and take the older 2 (and Opal) to a demolition derby. Opal was not a fan and Daniel ended up standing in a less noisy spot with her for a lot of it but the kids liked it!

We even paid like $8 for these headphones hoping someone would use them.

Afterwards we went down to look at all the beat up cars! This black car was the winner!

For a fun school activity I introduced the kids to the wonderful world of Shrinky Dinks! So fun!

Always a tea party here.

Classic picture. Every kid need one of these taken with Dad. :)

Toward the end of the school year I had the kids in ice skating lessons. They both loved it and I was really impressed with how fast they progressed. They can both skate on their own (maybe even better than I can!). Addie loved it so much we let her do another session, Johnny just watched the second time around.

Since I'm always changing my hair, I tried some red. It was a really pretty red ombre. Unfortunately it only held for like a week! I was so bummed.

Speaking of hair, I gave this little girl her first haircut back in April! It was kind of looking like a mullet and super shaggy. She was happy to sit there and watch a show on the ipad. I think it turned out pretty cute!

(I wish I would have taken one before she was eating!)

These 2 fight like crazy and know how to push each others buttons but I think deep (deep, deep) down, they know they are going to be good buddies. :)
