Pregnancy #4

I feel a little bit bad that I haven't blogged about this pregnancy very much. Or at all really. I am just so far behind on posting that I haven't been able to do it! I have been taking pictures every 2 weeks (or so). Here is are some of them!

20 weeks.

22 weeks. When I started feeling like it is going to be a boy!

My view while I am making dinner most nights!

24 weeks.

26 or so weeks. I lost count for a couple of weeks and really didn't know what week I was on!

28 weeks.

32 weeks.

34 weeks.

Christmas and 36 weeks! (Christmas is also our 'when we started officially dating' anniversary. 14 years!).

37 weeks!!

So close to meeting this little person. I can't say that I am ready to have him/her because honestly, life is going to be crazy. And even though I am uncomfortable and my big belly is slowing me down, I know that it is easier carrying this person in my belly than it is going to be dealing with 4 kids! This pregnancy has gone by super fast and really it has been pretty easy. I have the usual complaints, heartburn, restless legs, a couple of leg cramps, etc. My biggest thing is my varicose vein. If I don't get it taken care of after this baby I don't think my body can handle going through another pregnancy! Something for us to consider down the road!

There a 4 of us in my ward (plus 1 that moved out recently) that are all due within about a week of each other (3 of them have the same due date!). One of the ladies had her baby early, on January 1. That got Daniel a little freaked out. Since my other 3 were early there is a good chance this one will be too and I don't think he is quite ready! He told me the baby needs to just wait because the house is not ready! We are excited to see when he/she will make their appearance! We are pretty sure it is a boy. I have 3 guesses on when he will come: Jan. 12, 14 or 17. And probably weigh about 8-8.6 pounds. Those are my guesses. We will see soon!

Johnny D Turns 4!!

In November, Johnny turned 4 years old! He still seems so small to me but yet older than Addie was when she turned 4. Does that even make sense?! He was pretty stoked about his birthday. He knows all about birthdays and parties and how he wanted everything to happen.

We started out the morning with waffles. He wanted to have strawberries and whipped cream for his special treat. Addie really wanted to add the candle!

He had preschool on his birthday so he was the snack helper and brought home his cute crown. For dinner we headed over to our favorite birthday restaurant, Red Robin!

After dinner it was time to open presents!!

I'm pretty sure Dia was more excited about the bike than he was! He has seriously only been on it 2 or 3 times! He did make learning to ride with no training wheels one of his goals for the year though!

I think his favorite toy was this bow and arrow. I have to admit, it is pretty fun! We can shoot it at the glass on the front door because the arrows have little suction cups on the ends!

The Saturday after his birthday he had his Ninja Party! I am amazed at how much of an opinion my kids have about how their parties should be. I think at 4 he wouldn't care too much but he was super helpful with all of the planning.

Setting everything up. The ninjas and ninja stars were for everyone to take home! (Thank you You Tube for having videos on how to make the silly ninja stars!).

The kids LOVED playing with the sticky ninja guys. These are the ones you throw at the wall and they 'walk' down. Things got a little crazy and we had ninjas on the ceiling and the clock! Gotta love Dollar Store finds!

Even a ninja in Addie's hair!

One of our games was to move like a ninja through a maze of tape. Our hallway isn't as long as it should be for a game like this but the kids had fun anyway!

Even Diadora gave it a try! :)

This is the best shot I got of the whole group!
Johnny. Paden. Brody. Piers. Damsel. Addie. Jack. John.

When we were picking out cupcakes, he insisted on getting these ones that had rings in the frosting. They were character rings (nothing to do with ninjas!). When I got the cupcakes out we had some arguing over who got which one. I'm pretty sure someone was upset about what they got but I didn't know what to do when they all started saying "I want this one! I want that one!". You can't make everyone happy, right?!

These next few pictures are just random.
I just love her face.

And a rare smile for the camera!

The kids did a Pumpkin Surgery activity. We had to carve out the pumpkin and count the seeds. Of course we had to bake them too! Yum! They each put their hand inside the pumpkin once I think then they were done! Too gooey for them.

Phone pictures

Here is a small round up of some pictures off my phone...

Always helping!

Addie, Johnny, Brody and Jack at our yard sale.

Showing me his seat at preschool!

Pigtails!

Not sure if I already posted this or not. We went with some friends to Krispy Kreme on National Talk Like a Pirate Day. If you dressed up they gave you a dozen donuts for free!

Diadora and I have been having Thursday hot chocolate dates with our friends Katy and Cohen while Johnny is at school and Addie is at music!

The kids and I went to the fish hatchery for a field trip. Behind it there is a path that leads to this spot. It was a gorgeous foggy morning!

Tea parties have become a staple Sunday activity. Addie will set it all up while we are napping, complete with invitations next to my bed. :)

I don't even know what this was but it will be funny for them to see in the future!

She lost her second tooth!

Again, always helping.

My OCD 6 year old thought she would organize their toothbrushes! Too bad it didn't stay like this for very long.

Lots of projects going on around here. I'm hoping to get some up on the house blog soon!

Our pumpkin from the garden!

October...

We had some fun activities in October! Addie really wanted to have a Halloween party (we think she would make a fantastic party planner when she gets older!). Even though I was not really excited to be throwing a party for a bunch of kids, I went along with it because she was just so excited!

She invited a few friends from church and a few from her music class at school.

We decorated...

did a craft...

played games...

and had a treat.
She was so thrilled with how it went and by the end I was exhausted and glad it was over!

We did our annual pumpkin painting. Daniel and I didn't even carve our pumpkins this year. I sat back and let the kids do their thing while I took photos.

Johnny had preschool on Halloween so we were able to go watch him sing some songs! He is so funny to watch. Sometimes I can't believe he is already 4!

***
When I got my Halloween decorations out, Dia found some new friends!! Just her size. She would seriously give them several hugs everyday!

***
One Monday we were able to go to the pumpkin patch with friends to pick out (more) pumpkins! This was only some of the kids, I guess I didn't get one of the whole group! Afterward we went to a friend's house for some yummy hot chocolate!

***
We had our ward Trunk or Treat on Halloween. After going to the Trick or Treat downtown, we went to that and the kids got lots of candy! Then we went home and headed out around our neighborhood. I think we only did one street (which was plenty!) then everyone was ready to go home! I didn't end up with very many pictures from the night. Johnny made a pretty cute ninja and the girls were black cats!
