Dia 4 Months

I am about 2 weeks late posting this (at least I took the pictures on the right day!), but here is Dia at 4 months old! (Don't forget you can click on the pictures to see them bigger!)

One of my favorites. :)

Johnny wanted to get in on the photo shoot. Sometimes he is so cute with her!

I have a hard time choosing the photo to use for all her stats for the month. Here were some of the other choices.

Love her expressions!

Turkey and TV

For a school project, Addie was asked to 'dress' a paper turkey. It was supposed to be a family project but we only had a day and a half to do it because we got it late. So one afternoon her and I sat down and did it. I was able to dig through enough boxes to find the supplies that we needed and everything we used we already had on hand. She insisted that it: 1. Be a princess 2. Have a necklace 3. Have sparkles on her shoes. I think Addie was happy with how she turned out!

I just love this face. :)

The other day I had a show on for Addie and Johnny. When I walked in to the room they were sitting like this...

It always amazes me when I see them being nice to each other because they seriously fight. ALL.THE.TIME.

I gave Dia to Addie so I could get all three!

Halloween

We were out of town the week before Halloween so we missed most of the Halloween parties/activities that we normally go to. We were back in time to go trick or treating though!
Here are the finished painted pumpkins: (Addie's is on the left, Johnny in the right)

I wanted the kids costumes to go together this year but we couldn't make it work. Addie really wanted to be a lady bug and Johnny had no idea what he wanted to be. I am not a fan of buying the cheaply made costumes from the store, I would rather make them. After weeks of asking Johnny what he wanted to be and not getting an answer, I finally broke down and bought him a $10 pirate costume from Wal Mart. Turns out it was a fantastic purchase because he play in it all the time! I had planned on making Addie and Diadora matching lady bug tutus. I got done with Addie's and realized no one was really going to see what Dia was wearing because she was going to be in the stroller while we were trick or treating. I had a pumpkin costume that my sis-in-law gave us when Addie was born. So we had a pirate, lady bug and a baby pumpkin.

This is his 'aaarrgh' face.

We headed out to go trick or treating with our friends. It was a little rainy when we first left so I wasn't sure how long the kids were going to last. Luckily, the rain stopped and they had a great time!

First Halloween

The morning of Halloween I snapped some quick pictures of Dia in the outfit Addie wore on her first Halloween. It barely fit!
My girls!

I seriously love blue eyes. :)

My favorite.

Love.

Here is a short video of Diadora rolling over.

Pumpkin Painting

We don't let the kids carve pumpkins yet, they still paint them. This year Daniel didn't even carve one, sad! While I was getting everything ready for the kids to start painting I realized I had no idea where my paint brushes were! All of my craft stuff and most of the kids books/toys are still out in the rec room. It's very unorganized! We searched for a few minutes for the brushes then decided they could just use their fingers! At first Johnny refused. I starting putting dots on his pumpkin for him with my finger and after a minute he decided to give it a try! By the end I couldn't get him to stop painting!

He asked me to do a frowny face for him. He did the ears and the hair on top!

Stay tuned for pictures of the finished products! (I haven't uploaded them yet and I don't feel like getting up to do it right now!)

A few random photos:

Izzy napping with Dia is a common sight. I love how their arms are positioned the same!

Now that Addie is in school, they are always playing 'school'. I happened to catch her reading to Johnny. I'm hoping the fact that he has his chair tipped over and he is sitting on the legs isn't an indication of how he is going to act once he gets to school himself!

Las Vegas 2012- Part 3

Sunday night was the last night we were in Las Vegas. My sisters and Daniel's parents came over for dinner. We tend to get a little goofy sometimes and maybe a little loud. :)

Sisters!

Chocolate acai berries, yummm.

Monday morning Daniel went to the park again with the kiddos so I could pack. His parents and his friend met them there. Johnny must have been in a better mood this time because there are lots of pictures of him! Daniel's parents brought a bat and ball, I bet that made it easier for him to cooperate.

I guess it was a little too bright for our Washington babies.

Here are a few pictures I took on my phone while we were there.

I found some spare time to do a project I saw on Pinterest. The headband didn't come out quite like the one on line but I think it's cute anyway!

They both fell asleep on the flight home!

My older sister, Mel, my little sister Nicole and me. The night we flew in to Vegas my sister had a bachelorette party. I went for a little bit, then us old people had to go home and go to bed!
