One year ago...

I was looking through some pictures and came across these. They were taken on January 31, 2010. Exactly one year ago. It is really amazing how much babies change in 1 year.

Climbing and crafting

Those are the 2 things my kids are really into right now.

Love the mouth full of Goldfish. He thinks he has to be ON the table to eat them. Good thing he's cute. He's into everything right now!

And a girl after my own heart. Loves to be creative. She insisted on making a birthday card for her friend Jack as soon as we got home from preschool today. She loves using stickers, markers and stamps. I love her. :)

I can dream...

I fell in love with this house 4 years ago when we first moved here. I would drive by it every time I went to work out. Four years ago it was vacant, yard was overgrown and paint was cracked and peeling. Since then someone has purchased it and fixed it up. The outside is adorable!! I am hoping they have an open house one day so that I can see the inside in person. For now all I have are the photos on the real estate website. I can't say that I LOVE everything they have done with the inside, I would change a lot. And I try to ignore the decor and picture my own!! There are 2 problems with the house though:

1. It is on the corner of 2 semi-busy streets
2. They are asking $600,000!! (I think this is odd because a few months ago it was for sale by owner and they were asking $550,000. It didn't sell at that price so why do they think it will sell at $600,000?)

For the month of December we had an activity/craft/treat everyday until Christmas. Addie was very anxious every morning to see what was in her box (I got one of those advent calender/boxes that has 25 little doors). I only got a few pictures but here is a list of things we did:

10. Played with our laminated paper nativity set
11-12 We were out of town

Jesus wants me for a...

SUNBEAM!!!

This Sunday was the first time Addie was in Primary. She "graduated" from primary (kids ages 18 mo.- 3 years) and is now a Sunbeam (3 year olds going on 4).
She was very excited to be able to go to the "big" primary.
I was excited for her and thought maybe she would be a little nervous but she walked right in and never looked back at me!

Halloween and Johnny's Vegas B-day Party

Finally, here is the last post from our trip. It only took me 2 months to get it all on here!
We celebrated Johnny's 1st birthday early so that all the Grandparents could be there. It was a Halloween/birthday celebration.

Daniel's parents with the kiddos.

My mom carving her pumpkin and Addie getting ready to paint hers. I will say how impressed I was when I saw the finished product. She painted it all on her own.

Good right?

Johnny's birthday banner I made.

Cupcakes!

My friend Suzanne made Johnny's cake for me because I was out of time. He loved it! Thanks Suzanne!

Some "finger" foods.

Little swamp guys.

I like Johnny in this picture.

The kids loves to eat.

Addie and her cousin Eric in their Halloween costumes.

After we were done opening all of Johnny's gifts, my little sister got a little something herself. My mom and I knew about this all day, we were so excited! Poor Blake wasn't planning on proposing that day so I think he did great considering he didn't really have time to prepare. Hope it's OK I posted the video Nic!

Disneyland Park: Day 2

Day 2 at Disneyland started out in costume! We spent the morning visiting Tinkerbell and the princesses before heading over to California Adventure.

I have to say it was so worth it to stand in line for 45 minutes so that Addie could see Sleeping Beauty. She was the last of the 3 princesses there. Addie wanted to skip Jasmine and go straight to her! When Sleeping Beauty knelt down to be closer to Addie's height, Addie sat down on the ground right next to her and was talking away! So stinkin cute! I think this was the ONLY character that she was totally comfortable with.

This was the whole gang.
Dad, Daniel and Andrea
Kadence, Mel, Me, Eric, Mom and Nicole
Addie and Johnny
A for Addie :)

She doesn't even know who these guys are. :)

I feel like there are hardly any pictures of this handsome man from the trip. He was there with us the whole time!

This just might be one of my favorite shots. On the way home to Vegas (the next day) she was so tired! It was a fantastic trip and we are looking forward to doing it again in like 5 years!

For Christmas I made Addie a scrapbook of all of the character photos and their signatures. It also contains some of the other pictures from the trip. It made me happy that she really likes the album! I stayed up until like 3am one night getting it all done. I think it came out pretty nice considering I did it all in about 4 hours (that is record scrapbooking time for me!).
Here are 2 videos as well:
