First (real) Haircut!!

I realize that 'Baby's first haircut' is usually a milestone celebrated in the first year of a child's life. I have been cutting her bangs for about 6 months but the back was getting so long I could not bring myself to cut it! It is all baby hair, too fine and frizzy, it had to go. Addie got to sit in a Police Car chair and watch '101 Dalmatians'. I thought she would freak out alittle bit sitting there but she did pretty well. I think the new cut is adorable on her! I will miss those long pig tails though...

Fourth of July

Daniel had Friday off so we went to the Tacoma Children's Museum. There was not a whole lot there that Addie was interested in. She did like the bird that flies up to the sun and coloring.

After we played we went outside to eat lunch by the 'wawa' fountain. I love how she puts her sunglasses on top of her head when she doesn't want them on. Crazy the things they learn from watching us!

Saturday we went down to Olympia to hang out with Daniel's brother and sis-in-law and Addie's cousins.

She enjoyed the food...

Not the fireworks. She played in the car most of the time.

Overall we had a great Fourth. Yummy food, an excuse to be outside all afternoon, and a chance to get to interact with other adults!

Who would think...

that an angel face like this, could do something like this...

Apparently Addie got a hold of a blue washable marker while I was at work today. She was supposed to be napping but has gotten really good at getting out of her room. Daniel says he has no idea where he was while she got the marker out of my craft room, came down stairs and colored the couch, then made her way back up stairs where he found her coloring on her table. Luckily it was a washable one and our couches clean pretty easily. I keep telling him you can never leave her alone and you should NEVER underestimate a toddler!
