I heart free food

In the past couple of weeks there have been a few offers for free food from restaurants. I am all about getting food for free from yummy places!! On April 15th, tax day, Taco Del Mar gave out free (big) tacos. Addie and I went there for lunch. Last week Ben and Jerry's had their free cone day (thanks Rebecca for posting about this one!). We definitely stood in line to get all 3 of us a free cone. Today KFC was giving out pieces of their new unfried chicken. In the afternoon I thought we needed a snack so we headed over. Of course we ended up getting biscuits and cole slaw to go with it, but we got 2 pieces of chicken for free! If you know of any other places giving out free food, keep posting!

Easter Fun - Part 1

I have a lot of pictures and videos to post so I thought it would be easier to do it in 2 posts.

We let Addie dye eggs this year. Amazingly, no eggs were broken in the process! She thought it was pretty fun and wanted to keep putting them in the dye. She was a little freaked out that her hands were stained for a few days though.

Our ward had an Easter brunch and egg hunt at the church. They broke up the grassy areas into age groups so she was in there with kids up to 2 years old. I was surprised how fast she caught on and that she didn't just stand there watching. She must have really wanted the candy...

Digital Journaling

When I was pregnant with Addie, I bought a cute pregnancy journal called "The Belly Book". It was easy to fill in and had places for pictures. It also had a lot of pages that I was never going to fill in, like pictures of ultrasounds, bringing baby home, and it had some silly questions that I didn't like. So this time around, I've decided to make a digital journal. This way I can include only the pages that I want and edit all those silly questions. I've already designed a bunch that I can just fill in as I go. Here are a few that I have designed so far:
