After we left Rexburg, we stayed one night in Kaysville with Daniel's aunt then headed down to Pleasant Grove to stay with his brother Paul, his wife Jocelyn and their 2 kids Nathaniel and Lucy. It was fun to stay with them because their kids are close in age to ours. I don't think I saw Addie very much for those 3 days because she was so busy running around outside!
Amy stopped by with her kids one afternoon so they all got to play. I'm pretty sure the upstairs room of their house was trashed but the kids had a great time!
One activity I got for the car were some white boards and window clings. Total cost was $3 and they actually played with them for more than 5 minutes.
Gotta love the bath pictures!
I thought it was funny that we drove all that way to see family and Danial and Paul wanted to sit inside and compare apps on their phones.
Did I mention that it was hot while we were there? Poor Addie was melting. I had to keep forcing her to take breaks because her cheeks were bright red and she looked like she might fall over at any minute. So any chance to get in the water was good.
I was pretty surprised how well these 2 got along. Johnny D can be a little aggressive. There was one incident at the cabin where they were fighting over a ball. They were both pretty determined to have it. In the end I think Lucy grabbed Johnny's cheek so hard he was forced to let go.
One evening we went for a walk in Paul and Jocelyn's neighborhood. And we saw this horse. Everyone must stop to say hi to him because he came right over the fence. The kids were feeding him grass from their hands! Now Addie says she wants to ride one.
