Pedersen Road Trip 2015 - Disneyland Part 1

We were all sooo excited when we finally got to Anaheim!! My whole family was staying at the same hotel and were heading over to the park the morning the after we all checked in!

(These photos may not all be in order, there are too many! This should be most of the ones from day 1).

The kids thought our room was the best, bunk beds!! We had to rotate the kids around because they all wanted a turn on the fun beds. We only let Johnny sleep in the top bunk for 1 of the 4 nights because we were worried he would have a night terror and fall off. :/  Dia slept on the bottom bunk 1 night, fell off sometime during the night and busted the skin under her nose. (It shows in some of the pictures!).

We all had to check out the blood moon. Pretty cool!!

Heading out for day 1 of Disney!

Part of our group traveling through the park. :) There were 20 of us total. I think we were all together for like 1 hour of the whole trip. Too many different things to do!

Me. Daniel. My dad. Behind him is Johnny. Blake and my sister Nicole in the back.

We were so mean and would not let the kids stop to watch any of the parades. It was too stinkin hot to be standing in the sun and our group was always on the move. They got to watch about 3 minutes of this parade before we made them move on!

Opal and Garrisyn hugging it out. They are so cute together. :)

Poor kid was a sweaty mess the whole time!

Going on Star Tours with Johnny! I was nervous because he didn't know what to expect but he loved it! We convinced Addie to go on it later in the day and she liked it too!

I was so happy that both girls took naps in the stroller every day we were at the park. We didn't have to go back and forth between the park and hotel room.

Dia and Daniel on the Buzz  Lightyear ride!
The first time we rode this ride, it stopped right at the end and we had to wait for like 10 minutes! Made for a good photo opportunity.

Grandpa, me and Opal.

Addie and Grandma.

Trying to take a selfie on Dumbo!

I think this was the Indiana Jones ride. I might be wrong. We had to convince Addie to go on this. And she was terrified the whole time. At the end of the day though she said it was her favorite. I'm pretty sure she had her eyes closed for half of it. She was such a trooper! Johnny was bummed he was too short!

I love this pictures of Johnny's face! He claims he wasn't scared and he loved Space Mountain but his wide eyes say otherwise!

We did lots of ride/child swapping with my sister and brother so that we could all go on rides. We took our 4 kids plus my sister's little girl on the jungle cruise ride. We noticed several people looking at us. One lady asked if Opal and Garrisyn were twins. She was sitting kind of far away and the boat was noisy so instead of trying to explain over all the noise that they are cousins, born a few months apart, I just nodded my head yes. Another lady commented on how she loved watching the girls interact with each other more than the ride!

At the end of the day we decided to take a ride on the train that goes around the park. While we were on it the park closed and was only open for the Mickey's Halloween people. They told us we had to get off at the next stop (which was NOT where we got on and where our strollers were!). They were nice enough to let a few of us stay on so that they could get the strollers and not have to walk all the way across the park!
