Sunday morning we packed up and checked out of our hotel. We met up with everyone (my whole family and Maygen's parents) and we headed out to breakfast. I don't remember what the place was called but they had every kind of waffle you could imagine! I decided to splurge and order something so ridiculously unhealthy, but so good! It had apples, cinnamon, whipped cream and cinnamon ice cream! Yum.
The plan was to drive down to my brother's house (an hour and a half away) and hang out there for a little while. Thankfully the kids were feeling a bit better and no one threw up in the car! Johnny was so excited to see Uncle Dustin and show him his hat. He would put it on with the bill facing to the front, side and back and ask us how we liked it best and how would Dustin like it! I told him it was pretty cute to the side.
Bailee. Addie. Johnny. Rylee. Dustin.
I think in a effort to keep the kids somewhat under control Dustin pulled out a game of Candy Land. My kids had never played so he had to explain it to them. I don't think they quite got it but they had fun anyway! We ate pizza and hung out. Addie had been complaining that her ear really hurt. She was really trying to be tough but by about 8pm she was crying from the pain. We decided to take her to the Urgent Care. If it was an ear infection I didn't want to take her on the airplane untreated! I'm pretty sure our insurance doesn't cover us out of state so we are still waiting to see the bill for that! Turns out she didn't have an ear infection just some congestion.

The next morning we packed up our stuff again (this was the third hotel we stayed in!) and met up with my parents to head to the beach! Even though it was too cold to go in the water, the kids loved just putting their feet in! By the end their pants were soaking wet! We had to stop at the car to change them then we headed down the pier to eat lunch at Ruby's. We had some yummy burgers, fries and milkshake!
They would wait for the waves to come then run away as fast as they could!
It was a little breezy for little miss.
Grandma and Dia.
I'm pretty sure this was when their pants got wet.
There were these huge birds just chillin on the pier. They were really pretty but they also had signs next to them that warned not to get too close!

After we said good bye to my parents we headed to LA. We still had some time before we had to be at the airport (our flight wasn't until 7:45!) so we stopped at the Los Angeles LDS Temple. It's the next largest temple after the one in Salt Lake City! They had a really nice visitor's center with coloring activities and movies for the kids.
This face is trouble.
After walking around for a few minutes, it was time to head to the airport!
The nice thing about traveling on a later flight is that they are not full. We got to spread out on both flights which makes it really nice with three little kids! By the time we got home, the kids were feeling better. We are glad we got to go the wedding and see family but we were glad to be back home!
