If you read this blog, you know by now how much we love the fair. So, in April we headed off to the Spring Fair. We were thankful that the weather was better this year than it was last year!
The boat ride is one of their favorites!
You have to love these shots. :)
Unfortunately, Johnny is still not tall enough to ride all of the kid rides. Some of the fair workers don't really care and let him on anyway. At one point Addie wanted to go in a play thing that had a slide and ball pit and they would not let Johnny on. He was pretty upset! So we set off to find something else for him to do.
It wouldn't be a trip to the fair without getting their faces painted!
This keyboard was pretty cool. If I could get videos to upload I would put one on here of them jumping and dancing on it.
Our future drummer.
If you look really close you can see Addie walking up the stairs (she has the white flower jacket on). I think we were down to only 1 more ride ticket. We told Addie that if she wanted to go on the slide she would have to go by herself. That meant carrying the carpet up and going down without her dad or I holding on to her. She insisted that she could do it. We were sure that she would get to the top, look down and freak out. She proved us wrong when she came sliding down with a huge smile on her face. We could see the pride in her smile, it was great. Turned out that the person working that ride wasn't really scanning the ticket cards anyway, so she got to go on it again. This time Daniel and Johnny joined her.
We ended with a ride on the Carousel and a trip to the yogurt place by our house for dessert!
