March (2016)

Her favorite new face to make. She loves to do it while I am talking to her and it kind of drives me crazy!

We were able to go watch Damsel and Paden in their play. It was cute. My kids have no desire to sing/act on stage. They must have gotten that from me. :/

I fnished up P90X and while I still felt like I had some work to do, I should give myself some credit for working so hard!

This project has been just an idea for over a year. We finally made it happen and I love it!

Love when they nod off in the highchair. :)

Let t-ball begin!

Adopting Enzo

The kids really wanted a dog (all kids do right?!). Daniel and I started tossing the idea around but were still unsure if we really wanted a dog. I did not want the responsibility of a puppy but I also wanted a dog young enough that it could still be trained and acclimated to our family. One Saturday we stopped at the Humane Society 'just to look'. Haha. Bad idea! We saw Enzo there and he was so cute! He is a 3 yo. boxer mix. We left and had lunch to talk/ think it over. The kids promised us that they were going to help and we were all pretty excited about it. So, we brought him home!

This was our first night in the house.

That face.

This breed is very muscular and athletic. He made a fantastic running partner!

I especially liked that I could take him running with me at night for that added sense of safety.

I loved that I didn't have to tether him to anything, he would always stick close by me.

He fit right in with everyone. Except Opal. Unfortunately she scared him and made him very nervous. I spent a lot of time trying to keep them apart. He would run away and get really anxious.

After a lot of thought, and many tears later, we decided that he was not the right fit for our family. We were all really sad to see him go, it was a hard day. Parenting is tough sometimes when you have to be the one to make the tough calls.

Right before we left to take him back to the shelter.

His listing didn't stay on the website very long so I am hopeful that someone else adopted him really fast!

February (2016)

In the beginning of February we headed off to check out the Tacoma Art Museum. The kids behaved better than expected and we had fun!

They loved the free art room where they probably could have spent all day!

Matching with their dolls for church!
**

The only way to get this girl to nap lately is to read lots of books first then if I am lucky she will lay down. :/
**

Handmade Valentine's Day boxes! I can barley keep up with all of their ideas and creativity!

Of course Addie wanted to have a V-Day party. We invited some other families over that also home school and it was a success! This is all of the kids.

And the adults (minus the one taking the picture) taking pictures of the kids. :)
**

Father/daughter dance time! Such a lucky guy to have 3 cutie girls!

**

We sure do love our Friday night movie nights.

I am not a baker. In fact I don't like to bake. At all. I found this recipe on Pinterest and thought I would give it a shot for Daniel's birthday. It was definitely not as pretty as the one in the picture but it sure tasted good!

Happy birthday Daniel!!

January (2016)

First lost tooth!

I love how boys think. :)

Rain boots go with everything...

This is an intense game of Tuggie!

I can't even let her out of my sight for a second!

They tried the color tablets for brushing your teeth. Maybe they need to brush better? I don't know but the purple was everywhere!

I love when kids start drawing people and self portraits!
