At the end of August my mom, older sister and her baby girl came to visit us! It was so fun to have family here!! Even if we were constantly having to clean the house and leave for showings!!
All three baby girlies in the tub! Dia was so sad when Garrisyn left. Every time it was bath time she would say, "Where's Garrisyn?"
I took them to the Farmers Market on Saturday. For the first time we actually had time to stop and watch the band that was playing! The kids always ask if we can stop but we always seem to be in a hurry!
The Fair opened on September 5. We all got up and out of the house in time to watch the little parade they do. The cows go down the main street and to the Fair then it opens for the season! After that we decided to head over to the Fair because it's never that busy on opening day (during the day). When we got there it was PACKED!! And it was hot!! It was not a good first impression of our awesome State Fair for my mom and sister. We were all dying by the time we got to the car! We did eat some yummy scones and short cake. We probably should have had real food first because we felt sick after, but they were so yummy going down!
When we left the house in the morning it was a little chilly. I guess I dressed Dia too warm. After her sweatshirt came off she was still too hot and decided she didn't want a shirt on either! There was no way to talk her in to putting it back on! We got a few weird looks but it was better than having a screaming 2 year old!
Cousins!
One night we decided to get the fire pit out and make s'mores. My sister said she had never made s'mores before! WHAT?! So glad I could introduce you to making s'mores over a fire pit Mel. :) (And I am sure she is going to love this picture!)
